RTT-D7211-5.5 Digital Thermopile Temperature Sensor

SKU: NSHM-4122 Category:

Overview

The digital thermopile sensor is a TO39 packaged infrared thermopile temperature sensor that does not require direct contact with the object being measured when measuring the temperature of the object. It comes with an I2C interface for various application interfaces to communicate with the sensor. Compared to conventional thermopile temperature sensors that only output voltage signals, their internal integration includes infrared thermopiles, temperature compensation resistors, and ASIC chips. Thermopile is based on Seebeck principle and is formed by connecting dozens or hundreds of pairs of thermocouples in series through MEMS technology. The thermopile absorbs infrared energy radiated from the measured object, generating a corresponding voltage difference at the cold and hot ends; The built-in temperature compensation resistor can sense the internal temperature of the sensor at any time to achieve temperature compensation; Through the built-in algorithm and calibration process of ASIC, the voltage signal can be converted into a corresponding temperature signal, enabling the sensor to quickly and accurately detect the temperature of the target. The sensor can be used in the range of 10°C to +85°C, and the test temperature range is – 20~+250°C, which has widely application filed.
